RTB Race-cast System
The New Hampshire Reach the Beach relay is a big steaming always on-the-move pile of humanity crammed into cargo vans. Attempting to follow the shenanigans of 5000 runners spread out over 200 miles of counrtyside during a 36 hour time period, is a challenge to say the least. So we're shrinking the whole lovely mess down to a size that'll fit on your smart phone.
Essentially this system is a hash tagged twitter stream which can be used by all RTB runners, volunteers, and staff. Any smart phone equipped RTB'er can post text, photo, and video updates, as well as view the updates of others while on the course in near real time. Holla!
All an experienced twitter user needs to know is that the race hashtag is #rtbrelay, and that the official RTB twitter profile is RTBRelay. Follow both during the race and you're all set. Of course, make sure you upload your own posts using the #rtbrelay hash tag. Things just wouldn't be as awesome without your input.

Twitter newbies and other folks who might need a little help setting things up on their smart phones should download the instruction sheet by clicking this link, or by clicking the instruction sheet image below. Setup is really easy. Much easier than say, running 20 hilly miles in the dark and rain.
Folks this is race coverage, "for the people, by the people, and of the people." Be part of something new and cool. Be a race journalist.

Now, Let's tweet this thing up!
